TinyChem started business in late ‘80s as a formulator of textiles auxiliaries such as Antistatic conning oil and other additives for textile industry that was booming then. However, by early ‘90s, the growth of textile industry reached saturation and it was necessary to make the product-line more versatile such that we could cater to the needs of many more industries in the field of chemistry.

The focus shifted to development of new revolutionary additives that would find use in multiple applications in various industries. In 1993, an opportunity came by to develop a (import substitute) defoamer for cement roofing sheets manufacturer. After nearly 10 months of efforts and constant interaction with the Quality Control team of this prospective customer, TinyChem achieved the first breakthrough and the product passed all tests. After all, our product helped reduce cost to almost 1/3rd of the erstwhile imported defoamer of a reputed multinational.

This triggered the Paradigm Shift at TinyChem.

At TinyChem, we believe that offering the most appropriate foam control solution to a customer is like a (Responsible) Doctor prescribing medicine suitable to a patient after having thoroughly studying the patient's health history and present condition. Providing the most appropriate antifoam to suit the customer's manufacturing system is what makes TinyChem different from off-the-shelf suppliers and it is for this reason that we follow a direct selling model and extensively interact with the process / quality assurance team of each of our customers to ensure their total satisfaction.

We are working towards consolidating our leadership in this field not only in India but also beyond Indian shores where industries need specialists to share their foaming grievances with.
